Hi any info greatly recieved re Amazon Fire stick am confused. Com!! Does the stick work straight away or do I need to download kodi?

First you need to download ES File explorer, then you will need to side load Kodi if you want it. Amazon do not want customers loading Kodi, recently they made it difficult by blocking APK files. There are ways round this and you can find detailed instructions on U tube. A nice thing about Kodi is that there are many little tweaks you can add to make content play better on local internet.

The firestick plays BBC I player, ITV C4/C5 very well but you must have a paid DNS re-locator service or a router with built in VPN or it will not work. The same applies to Amazon's own content.

Or just put it on laptop connect to tv!
