I am in the process of changing the payments of our pensions into a UK Bank Account ready for our move back early in the New Year. I have to say that it has been relatively stress free and they were most helpful to me over the phone. They told me that they had never heard of BOC UK and I told them a little about it and that it had been the only way I could open a UK account until I had proof of address etc. He advised me that if I ring them again 4 weeks before the move and providing the new address they can ensure that a letter is sent to me at my new address which should satisfy any Banks requirements. They said there was other advice that they could offer too at that stage, asked me if I now required weekly payments ( which I had completely forgotten were available even though I didn't require this) They also advised me that we would not get the WFA this winter as needed to be resident from September but would advise me what if anything I needed to do to reclaim it for next year.
Well Done Pensions!!
