Let's put things into perspective:

In the UK there are 2.7million muslims - 4.8% of the population.
Or to put it another way just under 60million people in the UK are non-muslim
around 95% of the population.

47% of muslims in the UK are British and 73% state their only national identity is British.
30% of muslims live in London.

Given some of the comments you could be excused for believing that muslims are in the majority.

Haven't we recently done this merry go round?

In many parts of the UK the % of muslims is as good as 0%.

But in some cities/towns the % is much greater than the average, and in many neighbourhoods within those cities/towns the % is well in excess of the average.

It's where the % are at the highest that the problems fester. It's where the Islamist extremists already embedded in this country brainwash, radicalise, and recruit. Please note that I've changed the wording from muslim to Islamic extremist.

Yes, it is indeed worrying........but where are our Security Services?......what are they doing about the small minority of extremists???, it reminds me of the 70's during the height of ' the troubles ' in NI when it was commonly assumed that the majority of Irish people were terrorists

I see that the Daily Malicious has lost it's advertising funding from Lego because of it's hateful demonisation of immigrants,
GOOD... hopefully other companies will follow suit.

Catching and getting them put away. How many islamic extremists are behind bars in UK? How many are under surveillance?

How many islamic terrorists does noone know about, that are entering the UK under the radar, as economic migrants, refugees, or asylum seekers? How many does it take to do a lot of damage?

Did you read the Guardian article? It's not easy for anyone to keep a tab on the numbers being radicalised, and there are a lot of potential recruits.

My mum was Irish. We lived in a town in the North West where plenty of Irish lived. I have no memory of it being 'commonly assumed that the majority of Irish people were terrorists'.

It has become more evident each time you post that your anger, ( because that is how you come across ) & prejudice against immigration is never going too lessen, so it is pretty pointless having these discussions as we are going around in circles.

Your mother was pretty lucky then, I was born in Belfast, during my stint in the army I was home on leave which oddly enough also happened to be in the North West & was told in no uncertain terms ' To go back too where I came from ', animosity against the Irish was evident, caused by fear & ignorance, much like I believe to be happening now, fuelled by
