I know you can sometime risk your sanity by posting on this site but I just wonder if it is worth trying to persuade some of you that use hedge/tree trimmers if we, those that don’t use or need them, or have dogs, if we could have some peace from them some time – a long shot I know but worth a try.

How about following the hairdressers who work out of the tourist areas who are not allowed to open on a Thursday and Sunday. Now can you imagine a lovely quite Thursday and Sunday afternoon when you could have family or visitors round for lunch or tea without the horrible buzz of the nosiest strimmers known to man making it impossible to hold a decent conversation. Hedges and trees have to be trimmed that is accepted but at times you can have three of four going at the same time.

I do feel sorry for the operators of these devilish devices who seem use them without any ear defenders, eye protection and any regard for subsequent White Finger vibration problems later in life.
