I didn't realise that the Boys from the Valleys are in town today playing the Chaps from Public School this afternoon at Twickers.

Must get my flags out. (Mrs Emgee is English)

Have a good game, obviously the result doesn't matter as long as Wales win.

Alan

A friend of mine has a ticket for the England v Wales European Championship game on 16th June. Sadly, it's fallen on the same day as his wedding.

Does anyone know a guy that wants to get married on the 16th of June ?

Great day for English Rugby, there first away series win against Australia, Alan if it is the case England go to Public schools for some of it's players then this is where Welsh Rugby selectors should look..

England Rugby World Cup squad includes 10 players from state schools... but which player went to the most expensive school?
England named their 31-man 2015 Rugby World Cup squad on Thursday
21 of the squad went to fee-paying schools and 10 were state educated
Rugby union is traditionally a middle-class sport in England

Alan...what you need to do is get the Welsh selectors to go to a Welsh Public school and shout down the chimney for good Welsh over developed young men, then you might have a sniff of winning a game..

Well done England's fine men giving the Aussies a whitewash, great game today that was very close end to end stuff, now this is better than darts Alan.

Times are changing , I read that at least 10 of the English rugby team come from state schools.

Thats correct Terry, I posted the same comment, but if those other UK teams feel they have the talent then go find them wherever they can..

Remember David Duckham, great winger from my home city Coventry, went to a grammar school yes .

Nearly forgot Neil Back, also from Cov..

Homegrown rugby star Neil Back and TV and radio journalist Joanne Malin are the latest celebrities to join our Pride of Coventry and Warwickshire Awards, in association with Virgin Trains.

Neil, who went to Woodlands School Coventry, played rugby for England and Leicester Tigers, while Joanne is a presenter on Midlands Today and BBC WM.

Not a public school is sight!
