in order to operate a simple summer school of any description in order to help people who have kids out here, we have just downloaded the appropriate forms which asks everything from your room size, to what books/ equipment you may use, to your birth certificate/yellow slips/ how many toilets/washbasins/ qualifications/ parentage you have etc etc........this form allegedly applies to all nurseries / schools institutes etc who want to do anything from 1st June to 30th September according to cyprus mail last friday.
the forms were put on the website 3 days ago and total 50 pages of intricate detail........oh yes and you have to register your company even if you are already registered-eg blah blah blah institute would have to be re - registred as blah blah blah institute( summer school) and run as a separate company with the appropriate accountant/ solicitors approval!

we only wanted to look after 5-6 kids and play a bit of footy/ paint the odd picture/ do a bit of drama..PHEW

failure to comply could result in prosecution/ fines according to the cyprus mail

Blimey, i can understand all that to setup a school from scratch but to dual-role staff & premises for a summer school ... what a hassle, and an expense no doubt.

How come those summer schools advertised, sorry i mean with editorial, are already to go if the forms only released a few days ago ?
