I need to make some outside recordings but am unable to buy a portable tape recorder anywhere. It seems they've (long?) gone out of fashion! Does anybody know please where I could buy one (or a similar device)? A second-hand one would do. Thanks in advance.

Can you not record via a mobile phone?

Good idea Julie thanks. I don't have a mobile that sophisticated at the moment (low-tech!!!!!!!) though I may have to resort to buying one if I can't get a tape recorder.
