I would greatly appreciate some advice on how to get our pool clear again, as it has been cloudy for a week or so. I added liquid flocculant on Friday & the following day a lot of dust had settled on the bottom but after vacuuming to waste the pool was still cloudy. On Sunday I used granulated flocculant contained in bags & vacuumed to waste again today. As expected there was hardly any dust at the bottom of the pool but it is still cloudy. I backwashed & rinsed each time. Also the pH & chlorine levels are ok. I do not know what to do next but was wondering if changing the sand would help.

Have your Gasket checked in the multi-port, also try not to over use floculant. Try a clarifier, jolly gel or wonder gel.

Regarding your Pool there is always a reason when this happens. First when did you have a sand Change, should be every 4 years What is your Cyanuric Acid level should be 50 ppm What is your Chlorine level Your PH level And ALK level. These are tests that should be known to help you.
