Blood testing at Paphos general hospital.

Postby b7hgf » 05 Nov 2015 14:36

I have been going for regular blood tests at the general quite often in the last 14 month and got quite used to the system except when you have to go back for your results.First few times I found it a bit daunting then I started to photo copy the pink sheets the doctors give you so when you go back after 12 noon I present these to the receptionist as an aid for them to locate my results without too much bother.
I went this morning and had a pink and white one from the rheumatologist plus a yellow urine slip plus there was two pink slips from the general practitioner I seen yesterday.I did not do my usual photo copying of the slips so I got into a bit of a pickle with the receptionist. The more I tried to explain to her the more irate she got and I was treated like a second class citizen. This woman is damn rude she should not be dealing with the general public. She sits on the right hand side of reception as you look at the glass window. This morning she had a surgical mask on.
Has anyone else had a problem with her.In hind sight I should,ve got my phone out and took a picture of her and reported her for her bad attitude.
Anyone else had a run in with her.
I have come across a few female nurses with bad attitude problems but this receptionst is the worst I have come across.B7.

Yes, she really has a bad attitude.

Not sure about taking a photo though - is allowed in CY?

The photo was just my initial idea to send in with a report as I don't think they wear ID tags as such do they.
Iam glad someone else agrees with me though.

I usually keep my left over stickers, then when I got to collect the results I pass to lady. It seems to work
