Not off hand no, but I have always successfully used dried beans when blind baking!

My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dogs already think I am!

When making the base for savoury or sweet tarts or pies tear off a piece of aluminium foil and roll it up so it looks like a silver sausage and then form a circle to fit the tin and press it gently against the bottom and sides of the pastry. With a fork prick the base of the pastry (to let out any air) and bake blind for approx 15-20 mins at 160 degrees C (stops pastry from getting too brown. Remove the tin foil and continue with recipe. The foil sausage can be kept and used again. A tip from a cordon bleu chef on a course I attended two years ago.
