Who Sends Goods To Cyprus?

Postby rodie » 05 Oct 2016 12:22

Following on from a thread about buying Nutribullets, I was wondering if people had a favourite UK shop that will post goods to Cyprus.

Another poster has said that Lakeland are very good at sending stuff out. I know Amazon will sometimes. Boots are a no-no :(

Any others that CL members can recommend?

I always use Lee's service from Hemel Hempstead to Paphos www.lhukcy.com - never failed to deliver yet and very reasonable prices. A lot of UK companies deliver free within the UK so you don't need to pay to get it to Hemel Hempstead. :-bd

John Lewis charge £7.50 to ship any size order to Cyprus. But not everything in their range can be shipped to Cyprus. So for example you can't order a King size bed and get it delivered here for £7.50

We've used the system and it works well.

That is helpful information Happy in Cyprus. Do you have to pick up the parcel from the main post office in Paphos, or could it be sent to a local post office do you know? Disappointed about the king size bed

Speak to Andrews Shipping in Enfield. Check put their website. They regularly ship students belongings both ways and will put any size packages you want to send in a container with other packages and you just pick them up in Limassol if you want to save money.

Very reasonable prices , I've used them several times.

For the life of me Rodie I can't remember. I have a feeling the package came in by courier, eg. ACS, and we collected from their office in-town. Am certain the Post Office is not used, as the delivery times could go out of the window.

Rodie - apologies for the typo above. Autocorrect isn't the greatest thing, is it.

Whilst in no way criticizing Lee's service it is one container per month [ schedule on his LHUKCY website ] so you will have to wait some time for the delivery.
In most cases this is not a problem but if you are in a hurry for something this service is not for you, but for most items it is excellent.

House of Fraser delivers to Cyprus for a flat fee of £6.00. It usually takes 3-4 working days and is delivered to the courier's office on the coast road, next to Premier Electricals. It's a really good service.

Austen 7---We did get quotes from Lee but he does not collect and deliver. I went to Peter Morton who was cheaper and does collect and deliver. It depends on the size of the item which for me was all about weight and size. You can also insure, I do not think that is possible with Lee.

Debenhams deliver to Cyprus for the very low cost of £5 per order. They state on their website that it takes 5-7 working days.

House of Fraser have two levels of service. Standard is £6 and takes 8 days
Express Delivery costs £10 and takes 4 days.

Next.com also deliver to Cyprus

Thorntons don't have Cyprus on their list of international delivery, but say you can contact them to enquire. However, their charges are extortionate - circa £26-£32!! Doubt they'd get many takers.

I'm quite amazed at the number of companies that DON'T deliver to Cyprus, and wondered, whyever NOT? They happily deliver to virtually everywhere else, inc Lithuania, Vatican City, Beirut(!!), and other slightly obscure places. Marks and Spencer, The White Company, Bodyshop, and many more. Crazy to miss out on potential sales IMO.

In a lot of cases it is because you cannot get goods to Cyprus by road.

I'm finding this a very useful thread, I would like to see it added to the Index as AH suggested. Or maybe a sticky? Admin, when you say "file it away", what do you mean...... sorry if that is a stupid question.

If I find other companies that will send to Cyprus, I'll make sure I add it to this list. There's a few companies on here that I would never have thought of, and would definitely use. I do buy in Cyprus whenever I can, out of principal, but some things just can't be found here for love nor money. Come on Boots, get your act together! I need your Soltan Once face suncream!!

Companies who deliver to Cyprus include Healthspan. This is a Guernsey based company who specialise in natural health suppliments. Both mineral and vitamin ones. These are mainly in pill or capsule form and are well packaged in strong but light weight materials. Prices of their products are very reasonable Postage is very reasonable too..They post orders to Cyprus and I have never had a problem receiving them. .Recommended.
There is an on line catalogue of all their products.

Not odd, I think that they just factor in the cost of shipping by air, which is more expensive.
