HI
If I bring an I pad2 with me on holiday to Cyprus will I be able to access the internet using a dongle in my apartment to check e- mails etc?

Apple keep things pretty tight , so if you have not already got a 3G version of the iPad it will not be easy.

However there are services available in Cyprus that will let you connect via wifi , I have used one called city cell in the paphos area good reception , I am sure there must be others.

It would probably be easier just to bring my laptop and go to a cafe/bar for free wifi access

You will see lots of people using iPads in cafes and bars .....you asked about in your flat.

So the iPad is ideal , no dongle needed.
