HI
If I bring an I pad2 with me on holiday to Cyprus will I be able to access the internet using a dongle in my apartment to check e- mails etc? :?:

Apple keep things pretty tight , so if you have not already got a 3G version of the iPad it will not be easy.

However there are services available in Cyprus that will let you connect via wifi , I have used one called city cell in the paphos area good reception , I am sure there must be others.

It would probably be easier just to bring my laptop and go to a cafe/bar for free wifi access

It was just to make my hand luggage lighter.

You will see lots of people using iPads in cafes and bars .....you asked about in your flat.

So the iPad is ideal , no dongle needed.
