Internet film viewing anomaly

Postby trevnhil » 18 Nov 2012 09:53

Hi all.
I am not sure if this is a question, ie why does this happen. Or if it is just a statement about an anomaly.

My FIL who lives with us loves old films. We watch films also via 1channel.ch or watchfreemovies.ch (they both appear to be the same really).

Yesterday 'Dad' asked me if I could get a film for him to watch called Hobson's Choice. So I typed it into the 1channel site and unfortunately it came up as Nothing found....

So I decided to go on the internet and ask there. I typed in .... "Watch hobson's choice online free."

Lo and behold the internet found exactly what I wanted. But look at the site that I was directed to..... 1channel.ch !!!!!

Computers are just so puzzling.

At least 'Dad' got to watch his film, and in the future maybe I should ask on the internet and not just on the free film site.

Yes I did try that, and with and without capitals. Just the same result.
Thanks for the info re Pirate Bay. But you will see from another thread that it takes forever here ie days, to download a film.
But I will now check on the internet for viewing films, if I get a negative answer to a search on the film site.

Good film choice , one of my all time favorites.

I download it a few weeks back and did myself a DVD , let me know if you want me to do you a copy.

I just downloaded 2 films my other half was looking at buying on eBay.

Stickmen and the other one is Harry Brown - got them both through the torrent site I use regularly. And at the same time, I'm also downloading the 1966 series of Adam Adamant plus episode 7 of Hunted and a couple of episodes of Dragons Den.
