Have tried Filmon a few times now on my ipad found it to be not much better than useless. It's finds the channel say itv runs fine for a few mins to maybe 10 mins, then that's it, stops working, then says report broken link, and that's its close of play it won't work at all then. Have plenty of speed 6 mg, am I the only one with this problem ? Richard

Richard
Have you ever registered for a Free account via the Filmon website. I know that on some of the older versions if you had not signed up then you could only watch for a few minutes before cutting out. Register and sign in if you have not already done so and that may help. You also need to make sure that your ipad is set to never auto lock when you are watching Filmon. Settings > general>auto lock > never.
Maybe that will help.
I get perfect uninterrupted viewing on my iPad4, so perhaps you have a setting which needs adjusting.

Yes - I was watching it through Android box today (I'm registered with filmon). Watched about 10 minutes OK then it repeats at high speed. Pain in the proverbial - I hope it's just a temporary glitch..

I'm using the Android ap to watch.

Cheers guys very helpful. It could well be the auto lock, it's either on 2 mins 5, unless I knock it of for my for score app. I will register again I think I was registered before but not sure. Cheers. Richard

The only channel I can get on my android tablet is BBC1, it used to be good but it seems when ever they do an update something goes wrong,

works fine on my computer to TV and have been using the same log in for both, think I may register for the tablet using different login details see if that makes a differance. Useful to know that other people are also having problems.

What is the advantage of signing-up (for free?) with FilmOn? I am not registered and happy to say that we can watch most channels quite reliably w/o any problems using iPad 2, Apple TV 3, and 2MB download via Holitec.

We have most problems with BBC1 and 2 and ITV - other channels (e.g. More 4, e4, BBC News) play more stable. What could this be down to? Bandwidth? Would it be better to access via UK VPN? Only have Apple TV since 2 days, so not enough experience built up yet.

Thanks, A.
