For any treatment for endometriosis, I'd be tempted on go back to the UK, unless someone can recommend a good gynaecologist on island. Some of the best consultant's practises in Nicosia. I have got a phone no contact of an excellant British lady doctor, who could point you in the right direction. However, she is in Nicosia. I have used her myself and would trust her judgement. She even saved me from having a totally un necessary operation which had be recommended by a doctor in Paphos.

I can personally recommend Dr Philippos at the Evangelismos. If you call the main number 26848000 and ask to be transferred to the Well Woman Clinic they'll help you.

No need to go back to the UK at all in my opinion, unless it's a question of cost. I had a light sedation and was back home in a few hours, of course people are different but that was my experience.

I must say that I agree with Pickles. I am constantly impressed by the standards of the medical care in Paphos and I would go to the Evangelismos as first choice as well.
