Does anyone know of a physiotherapist who is conversant with the particular type of physio needed for stroke patients. This is quite complex and not the kind of physio that you would nomally need for a bad back, shoulder problem, etc. Ideally situated in the Paphos area or willing to do home visits. Barbara

I think this subject should not be restricted to PM information.

One of these days it could be vital information on locating a Physiotherapy for stroke patients for all of us (I Hope never, but!!!).

When an answer is available can it be posted on open forum.

I know that physiotherapists in general are few and far between in Cyprus and I don't personally know of any that specialise in stroke rehabilitation.

If you need some general advice and pointers I used to work on a stroke ward and then for a rehabilitation team for a few years and am happy to offer any advice I can.
