Morning everyone,

Does anyone know where in the hospital I have to go to make an appointment? I have tried telephoning several times this morning and either not getting any answer or being told to call back in 30 minutes as 'I am too busy now'.

So I think I need to go in person - but just not sure where appointments are made.

PS. It's a Gynaecologist I need to see and know where they are but I've always made an appointment by telephone before

I saw this post shortly after you wrote it and thought that someone who uses the Gynaecological department may have answered for you.
Unfortunately I don't know where you would go to make an appointment for that particular department.

However I can direct you to the appointment clerk for heart, urology etc , and it may be the same one.

Enter the Hospital through the double doors behind the Cafe. Turn right and go down the corridor. Take the next right turn and then in 5 yds around the left hand corner is the window of the appointments clerk. There are usually only a few people waiting (sometimes none), so you will not have wasted much time if she is the wrong person.

When entering the Hospital if you see a young mother and child you could ask them.
