We have recently moved to Paphos and my partner has Type 2 Diabetes. Can anyone recommend a doctor for checks and treatment etc?
Many thanks

Hi again,

I maybe wrongly assumed from reviewing your previous posts before answering that you might not be eligible to register for NHS linked support at the General?, (ages 55 and 59 in 2011) hence my mentioning Dr Chris of Peyia.

I have no connection with him, just noticed his qualifications when visiting.

Dr Chris Theophanides MD PhD M.Phil. FRSM. FBMLES, a highly regarded consultant in medicine, a specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology, and a specialist in Medical law. I believe he holds the title of Professor as well? Although born in Cyprus, he grew up in Nth London where he also qualified as a Doctor. (Copied from Peyia Medical Centre Literature)

Good luck wherever you may get treated.

It does not matter that you are not at retirement age you can Pay at the General and it is more reasonable than private hospital/GP treatments..
