According to advice we have received, if you arrive in the Republic of Cyprus to become permanent resident prior to 2nd July you are deemed to have immediately become resident for tax purposes. You should declare your worldwide income on your Cyprus tax return, along with any foreign tax paid prior to your arrival. The tax office will calculate your tax liability, giving you credit for tax paid abroad.
