Does anyone know of a shop that sells this spice mix made up. Yes, I know you could buy the ingredients, mix,
grind down and make up but basically I'm a lazy *** and am interested in seeing if you can buy it made up.

amazon. uk you will have to get delivered in the uk and then sent out!!

Buy ready ground herbs .....easy. 2 tbsp each of thyme, marjoram and oregano.1/4 cup sumac.1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds. 1 teasp course salt. Grind sesame seeds in mortar and pestle. Add remaking ingredients. Store in airtight container. Za'atar will keep for 3/6 months.

Yes, thanks for that. As I mentioned, was hoping to see if it could be bought made up. It was a favourite snack of mine spread over pitta bread when we lived in the UAE. Ah well, guess I'll have to make it up then.

Just love it on warm pitta bread and croissants. Somehow though it doesn't taste the same when you do it yourself as opposed to straight from the bakers in Abu Dhabi .......Happy days!
