We have moved into a rental property which has a 4 pan electric hob. Each raised section is covered with rust marks - some worse than others. Any tips how to get rid of the rust would be appreciated.

Thanks Jim - I bought some gel rust remover but it didn't work, so I'll get some brillo pads. The hob area between the rings is lovely and clean, just the actual rings.
