My PC with Windows 7 suddenly will not remember passwords.
I expect it is something I have done so can someone help me remedy this please.

Can you give us a bit more info - do you mean a password to log on to windows, or is it to get e mail or log on to websites or???

If you're using chrome as your browser click on the 3 bars at the top right.
Go down to settings. Click on that and scroll down to advanced settings. Click on that.
Down a little is Passwords and forms and make sure you tick the box marked Offer to save your web passwords.
That's it just quit out of settings, but make sure you do not click reset settings as they will restore everything to default.

It is passwords to Hotmail,facebook,gmail,and some tv programmes on the view abroad sites.

Hmmm, that's a strange one, especially as you say you are using two different browsers.
