Back to Curium Beach

We haven't been for many months as we found this summer we much preferred to swim and sunbathe at Lady's Mile Beach. But today, we chose to head off for lunch at the Kourion Restaurant (the first one you come to) with friends and then took a stroll down to the very far end past Chris Blue Beach and the Sunshine Restaurant.

It made for a pleasant change to take that walk... however, there are still only a few places which are totally sandy and clear from pebbles/stones. Something we've got used to not having to contend with at Lady's Mile.

I wouldn't leave Coral Bay to go there. Does not look nice, they had sewerage problems a few years ago I believe.

Quite a few years ago that, Alan - not heard of any repercussions since and everyone was blaming each other so I don't think they ever got to the bottom of it....

We've much preferred the walk along the 7km of sandy beach that is Lady's Mile at the end of Akrotiri peninsula this summer. Hard to believe that we've really only discovered its' secret properly this year which will be our last summer in Cyprus:
