THe nanostation Loco is a cheap and cheerful unit (cost less than €50), a 1x1 unit.

there are 3 models depending on the frequency range, but they are quite well made and reliable.

They will also work with most wireless providers in the area.

Thank you for your reply. I am trying to set up one of these. The instructions say launch your web browser and enter http://192.168.1.20 in the address field and press enter. I do this and all I have the reply You' are not connected to a network. I have checked all the cables and every thing is ok, any ideas?

You may need to set a fixed ip address on your ethernet port.

For example: 192.168.1.99, subnet 255.255.255.0 - you do not need a gateway or DNS
