Well a number of you will know that we have had a plot of land in Polemi for quite a while now. We got the first planning permission last year after many problems. Only a couple of weeks ago we received the second permit to enable us to build our bungalow on our plot of land.
Since then we have signed a contract with a builder to build us an insulated Double skinned timber frame bungalow, And being quite the opposite of the time we have waited up to now (nearly 3 years), the build has quickly started.
However this does not mean that the building is part way up. These are early days yet.
The first step was to clear the land of all the vegetation. The second step was to construct a retaining wall to hold all the infilling to make the area for the bungalow a level plot.
The retaining wall is finished and the next step is to fill the inside of the walls to make a level area.
As you would expect from me, I have taken many pictures and some are here below.
The Best View from the plot .....

Overgrown Vegetation...

The vegetation cleared.

The shuttering started.

The retaining wall finished.

There of course many more pictures than these. The best way for me to make them available is to put on a live link to my Picasa Album, and here it is...

I will try to make sure that it is always live, and when I (frequently) add more pictures I will post on this thread and renew the link on my updated post.
