A relatively calm day at the beach today, although....

the sea was a long way up the beach....









According to tide-forecast.com website: http://www.tide-forecast.com/countries/Cyprus

The largest known tidal range at Limassol is 0.41m 1.3 feet
just a smidgen higher than that given for Paphos. The eastern end of the island comes in with the highest figures at 1.5 feet.

There did seem to be a more than usual rise in the sea ( tide ) today, I noticed when walking near beach the usual flotsam and jetsam was higher up the beach than normal

You do have a way of capturing atmosphere that's quite arresting. I'm not one for the visual arts, but your photos are filled with movement and light - dark or menacing, as above, or bright and airy as in some of your others.
