So, if you're one of those who like to stop off at the taverna that now resembles an airport waiting room rather than the beach cafe it once was, you may want to think again for a while....
Not only is it closed for what looks like yet another renovation project but they've also removed all of the front terrace railings so not quite sure what their plans are. We heard they may have an idea to create an extra level (I guess they mean on top).
We were headed for the Sunshine Restaurant at the far end but it was so busy as people had driven down to Chris Blue Beach only to find it closed, they just continued to the end of the beach and ended up there. It was too busy for us as we were only planning on having a beer with friends - so we walked back up the beach to the first taverna (Kourion Beach Restaurant). It just made the KEO taste much more refreshing!
