Saturday, 4 July down at Curium Beach (by the newly renovated Chris Blue Beach bar/restaurant).









We definitely felt more chilled and relaxed after a stroll up and down the beach.

Well, you know that saying "mad dogs and Englishmen" and all that....

Yesterday afternoon at 2pm we were down at Ladies Mile Beach at Akrotiri peninsula trying our hand at sea kayaking for the first time with friends!

We got an hour for €6pp on a deal from Skroutz (half price). Enjoyable but hard work and I have some pains in muscles I didn't know I had until now. Not good if you have a dodgy back though as the seats (if that's what you can call them) are very upright and most uncomfortable. We abandoned them on shore after about 25 mins and chucked ourselves in the sea to cool off.

I'm hoping Helen will send some photos to me soon as she didn't partake due to back problems.

All good fun at the time but I don't think we will be rushing to repeat it in the near future.
