During our visits during recent years we have become used to drivers creeping forward at traffic lights, many dangerously so, but on this visit the latest sport seems to be driving straight through the Pelican Crossing lights, on red, adjacent to the new roundabout next to the Mall. We have seen odd cars do it during the 12 weeks we have been here, but today 3 went through one after another, without reducing their speed, and despite lots of pedestrians who could have stepped onto the crossing. The lights were not even about to change as we had to wait a while after we pulled up. Only a matter of time before a serious accident happens.
