Quite a few people I have met think this forum is connected to the Cyprus Living Magazine which is published every month.

I find this the best laid out forum for information in the Paphos region.

Right to clear this up, CyprusLiving forum was the first, the magazine came later much later so those people are misinformed there is absolutely no conection, (this is from the horses mouth) the web site Cyprus Living.com has always been around but it looks as if the former owner of the Domain name has sold it on? we tried to get it years ago, the site then was not based for the republic of Cyprus as I seem to remember, this new website looks like it is for property, as far as I can tell..

The difference is that one is .org (this one which hosts the CL forum) and the other is a .com - always worth buying the .com domain name if you can get hold of it at the time of launching a website...

Some people buy domain names just for the fun of it and then sit tight on them waiting for the right time or opportunity to sell them on.

We purchased our .co.uk domain in 2008 but we couldn't get our hands on the .com one until around 2011 - however, for us it was well worth the wait

Nothing worse than putting in a load of effort and someone else popping up with a similar name and riding in your wake or worse, overtaking you!

As I said Jules we did try to get it 12 years ago but it was then taken, we guessed the TRNC forum was going to be sold on at some point as the .com forum was not used very much..
