Make sure the skin is dry (pat with kitchen towel if necessary), score skin with a sharp knife it not already done then rub with oil and smother with salt!

Cook on a high temperature for the first 30 mins of the required cooking time then turn down to around 180 C and continue until cooked right through.

As above, but after cooking the joint, carve off the naughty bit put it in something like a covered casserole dish (stops the mess), bung it in the microwave and zap it on full power until you smell slight burning and the fireworks stop. About 5 mins?
It's very bad for you, but oh so nice.
