Osborne faces rebellion over Brexit emergency budget

This is just more scare tactics and vindictiveness - he's just a sore looser, looser being the operative word.

Can Osborne have any credibility after all the rubbish he is coming out with?

If you read the comment below the article from someone called PC he pretty much hit the nail on the head. I don't believe he's a loser, loser actually being the operative word. :)

Regrettably, McI, irrespective of the outcome of the forthcoming referendum, the Tories have been consistently shooting themselves in the foot over the European Union for decades. And the thought of Boris "taking back control" chills the blood!
I'd be unstoppable if I could only get started.

Why the fear of Boris ? He has acted the buffoon in the past I'll give you that, but actually he's one very clever man as I see it.

Cameron and Osborne or Boris, no contest, at least it will be what you see is what you get. Having been a Tory supporter most of my life, ( I did one vote Liberal )Cameron and Osborne have lost my respect and my vote. We have been, and still are, lied to over and over again by these two, taking a nice high pay rise for themselves, whilst freezing disability and carer's payments, disgraceful, then they expect us to follow them 'over the top' to the certain destruction of Britain as we once knew it, with more and more lies. I for one am sick of the sight of their faces, the sooner they are gone the better.

Our politicians seem to think that they actually have a say in Europe, what did Cameron achieve for us with his latest talks, nothing, but he'd like you to believe he got us a better deal, (more lies). Vote 'in' and when it all starts to unravel, as it surely will, I will say 'I told you so'.

And of course Boris doesn't tell porkies, and he has achieved so much. Look at his record as Mayor of London. Yeah, right!

By the way, I too have always voted Conservative, basically because they have generally displayed a realization that you cannot spend what you don't have.

However, I will not fall out with anyone over it. You makes your choice and place your X according to how you see it, and long may that continue.

A question. We are being warned by the 'remain' campaign that certain calamities will befall the UK if there is to be a Brexit. They never guarantee that these calamities will never happen if the vote is to remain. Chances are that the calamities are going to happen in any case.

Tony, yes you can't spend what you don't have, true, but Cameron and Osborne have certainly both got lots, and we haven't.

M1

He's abused his position before, why should he stop now ? I say carry on with the threats, let even the most gullible amongst us see him for what he is.
