Hi just wondered if anyone else uses an online chemist. My husband is on a certain blood pressure tablet, and we cannot get it here. We have been using Asset Chemist in Tilbury Docks for years with no problem. But now there service is nowhere near as good as it was and delivery charges keep going up. Any advise welcome. Rainy

I would suggest that you see a doctor here, they will prescribe you new medication and you can purchase it easier over here.

I agree with the above post - years ago when my Mother first moved here permanently her blood pressure meds were deemed 'old fashioned' by the doctors at the general and she was put on another more modern product!

Have you checked whether there is a generic available ( same active ingredient, but different manufacturer?).

We have asked. The tablet he is on is called Quinapril 40mg. They only stock a 20mg version at the pharmacy and is €20 per packet, so would need 2 lots per month. That is why we have always brought it at the online chemist

as Kaz and Dave say, go to the general and get a check up, there is new medication coming out all the time.
