Several speed tests this morning to both Larnaca and Nicosia and both giving increased speed of 12.5Mb. tested to UK and got 9.66M. Hope it lasts.

Couple of evenings ago I did a quick test and it was 6.39Mbps down and .84 up - much faster than I'm paying for.

Just checked now and it was 6.23Mbps down and .79 up, with a PING of 38ms - to Limassol. To London it was 6.37 down and .50 up, with a PING of 127ms

I for one am happy with Cyta.

Maybe we will all be able to watch internet t.v. much more easily now???Don't hold your breath just yet!

Here we are at what I would consider the peak viewing period (20.00hrs) and at the end of the second day I am showing 11.1Mbs download and 0.76 upload speeds. Ping to Nicosia is 71 ms. Seems like Cyta are rolling out increases and ahead of time.

MIne has gone the other way from peaks of 11 on my 8mb service down to average of 4.5, still useable but not as happy as I should be.

Sure is bad news when things get slower but mine is still singing.
To Nicosia: Ping 34ms, DL 12.32Mbps, UL 0.77Mbps. Bought and paid for.
To London: Ping 163ms, DL 7.1M, Ul 0.76 M. Very happy with the package.

yep I think they will be balancing the system island wide and mine will come back up for the weekend when it offically rolls out on 1 Dec.
