well I'm doing this in my local bar again as Holitec don't seem to be able to keep a reliable service working in Kato Paphos - been the same way now for 4 months....

Are you still paying? If so, why?

Have you complained?

Thank you for letting me know the bar street relay is off-line. I will send an engineer out to find out why.

It would help if someone had called when it happened though.

Digby if I complained every time the service was unavailable we would both get pretty tired of it pretty quick, I have been complaining via phone and even visited your office - that the service has been intermittent - nothing seems to have changed in those 3 months - the only improvement (for a while) followed a public complaint on Cyprus Living.

The reason why I haven't stopped paying is that I paid for a year up front to save 2 months payments, not seeming like such a bargain right now.

And yes - it has been off all day, and is still off now, and I am back in the bar - the really annoying part being that I don't drink....

Hi MIke,

We have repaired the system, and moved it closer to you. We have arranged for the power to be on 24/7 and we have access at all times, rather than just the opening times of flairs. I can only appologise for the problems you have had, and will arrange for some credit to your account - we may need to do some further tweaking over the next few days whilst we get the optimum settings.

I have checked your connection it is all on-line now.

Kind regards,
