I have a smallish hard lump, diagnosed at the General as a lipoma. It's just above the hairline on the righthand side of my forehead, possibly caused by bumping my head on a cupboard door a year ago. It doesn't cause me any real problems although it's doubled in size, but the General suggested removing it.
I've done some research and some schools of thought say that if it's not causing a problem leave well alone.
Has anyone had such a thing removed at Paphos General Surgery Department?
Thanks in advance
Pat

Hi Pat,
I know of people in Paphos who have had lumps removed very successfully. They are as good in Cyprus as in the UK if not better - less chance of post operative infections etc.
It is better for any lump to be removed especially if it is changing in any way i.e growing, as they can turn malignant. It is a simple procedure usually and very quick to heal.
