Hi Teresa,
Where would i get hold of a Cypriot EHIC card for my wife and I?

We have our residency papers, and a pink healthcare card, for which we are entitled as i work here and pay my social insurance.

Please visit the Cyprus Ministry of Health website at http://www.moh.gov.cy/moh/moh.nsf/index_en/index_en

Click on the 'European Health Insurance Card' menu item at the bottom of the left hand column and all will be revealed.
