I bet not many noticed that tent floating away, that fisherman looked annoyed, frightened all those sardines he was after away.. :D

Akamas' beaches are covered in these just now, everywhere you look it's as if shanty towns that have sprung up.

I'm sure it's enjoyable for some people but not my cup of tea! The mess most of them leave is horrific too aswell as being a health hazard.

If you visit the beaches or the countryside take nothing but pictures and memories, leave nothing but footprints!

Although this may look messy they have in fact bagged up all their trash as you can see, Bonamare cafe makes sure they leave nothing untoward, every year.

There are also several largish caravans too..

I always feel envious myself, must be cool down on the beach at nights..

At least in Cyprus we have the freedom to do this if we want, without some hi-vis-clad honcho coming along to tell us what we can and can't do...and then fining us for some minor transgression of medieval law.

With freedom comes responsibity, and the onus on these happy campers is to clear up after they depart and leave the place as pristine as they found it.

It's nice to see some taking their rubbish home, sadly the majority do not. :x

The locals do manage to get caravans to the most bizarre places we have decided, the laws of physics don't apply!

Probably out of order but I quite liked the first pic Jim. Bit of planning went into it

Much more interesting than an array of sun brolls

These campers are here every summer season for more than two weeks, months usually, go look on Timi beach near the fishermen wharf, a large caravan is parked up there all year..

This very caravan in fact....same area as the others, even has solar electric panels.
