Good Afternoon All.

Again according to the person judging the competition, it was a difficult decision after arrowing it down to five entries.

However THE WINNER IS... Paph - taff (Ray) with 'Florence'

Well done Ray, and would you please contact Jim at Admin, for your prize.

Thank you to all that entered, there were certainly some very good and very entertaining pictures.

Trev I agree that this was a difficult competition to judge and congratulations to Ray

For me the opportunity to take part was the most important thing and hope it becomes an annual or even bi-annual event?

Many thanks for that opportunity

Norv we have had a photo competition about three times a year since CL started, that was way back.

A winning member won a CL T shirt and never picked it up, I still have it in a bag, it was the old logo not the new one, that must be about seven years old now. got moth holes in it

Jim

Always nice to be reminded that CL keeps ahead of the game

Next photo competition is?

As Hanna has suggested we will be trying even harder next time just to make it even harder for the adjudicators

Must try to win that moth eaten T shirt

Wow, what a nice surprise; and to think I nearly missed the deadline! And it just added to my joy following Palace's 'Great Escape' yesterday!

There were some fab pics this time, and I enjoyed looking at all of them - it must have been a very close call.

Thank you Trev and the judges, and everyone for your kind comments - even Judiroodi whose teeth I will now attempt to prise apart (she is of course the only person whom I allow to hold my monopod and help me with exposure ...! )

If you rest your Canon on a tripod, it'll free your hands to get ready for action. And you can hold the angle of your shot steady.
If I'm wrong about the Canon, I just mean your equipment...

Hiya Hanna

Yes, it's a Canon sure enough - but how did you know such details about my equipment? (shhh, I won't tell ...). The problem I find with a tripod is that I have such a long zoom that it overbalances.

But I'm always happy to receive guidance from an obvious expert ...

For Christmas may I have a keyboard with a built in delay function when posting a joke on any forum. More brains/ better judgement in the meantime if possible, please.

Hanna

Hey, Hanna, it was me who started the double entendre thing, and you just tagged along. No need to apologise or delete - this site is full of them!!!
