White paint on fruit trees

Can someone please tell me the name of the whitewash/paint that is put around the trunk of fruit trees to prevent ants, etc. climbing up and eating the fruit? Where can you buy it?

Try a DIY shop or an agricultural chemicals place, there's a large one on the Polis Rd same side as Sports Direct but lower down - I think it used to be the Charalambides Dairy.
