So I heard that some people who leave Cyprus and are not able to sell their car are allowed to keep that car in some kid of storage until it is sold. Does the place like that really exist or is it just a rumor? I am referring to the North of Cyprus. Thank you all.

You would probably get better advice joining a Forum that deals with or is based in the North of Cyprus.
This one is based in Paphos and mainly deals with Southern Cyprus items and problems.

I agree with Trev , guess you are refering to a " bonded warehouse" a customs controlled storeage area, there may well be one in the north
