Vehicle Import (to Cyprus) Question

I have a holiday home in Cyprus, with title deeds, I do not live here permanently although I used to.

Can I permanently import a vehicle, that I already own in the UK, into Cyprus, to use when I am here? I am not interested in getting it in "duty free".

I can find information for importing, if you're a permanent resident, but can't find anything related to non permanent residency!

I have an alien card, and a Cyprus tax and NI number, (still valid from when I did live here permanently).

We have done so 2½ years ago, BUT check the 'import duty' before you take the plunge

We imported our car from the UK 11 years ago. All went smoothly. Picked it up at Limassol on the Tuesday and by the Thursday it had been registered and had an MOT

We then bought another car in the UK and because we had no part exchange got a sizeable discount.
