I've been told I need a mri scan in Nicosia, I understand there's a long waiting list
has anyone got an idea how much they are if you go private

My wife recently had one here in Paphos. The prices vary depending on what is required to be scanned. Her scan was just for for the ankle and cost 300 euro.

Yes the insurance has paid up in full.

Hope this gives you some idea of the cost as I suspect that prices will be much the same in any private clinic.

Can't tell you the price but when we lived there our daughter needed one and she came out to us on holiday and we took her to Iasis to have one done, it was from the top of the neck to lower back, and we thought the price was very good. Open tunnel type scanner as well which she found very good. Results almost immediately. Excellent service.

the open one sounds good as when I had one a few years ago I felt very claustrophobic
