ONCOLOGIST AT THE GENERAL HOSPITAL

Postby dancing star » 13 Nov 2012 08:11

Information needed please. My husband needs to see the oncologist, I went to the General Hospital yesterday and was told the oncologist sees patients on Fridays by appointment only. Do you just go to the desk as usual for a ticket to see him/her, and what time do they take appointments from ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi :) The procedure for the Oncologist is as follows.
[I am a registered patient with this department]
Go to reception and ask for The Oncologist [on fridays only]
they will give you labels and ask if you have your file or maybe the
reception has it. Go around the corner as if you were going to blood bank.
Turn first right and right again the offfice is at the end.
She the Specalist usually arrives about eight oclock.
Make your self known to the nurse and you will be taken care of.
She is very thorough.
I would suggest you arrive at reception not later than 0600 hrs
to que to get your labels which will/should put you near the front of the list.
Hope this helps
