1st class service (Fusion IT)

Postby ast » 25 Feb 2016 12:06

We use Fusion IT for our internet and on Saturday evening it went down for whatever reason.

Did the usuall re-boots etc but to no avail, i thought not a lot will happen before Monday but on Sunday morning i just happened to send a text message to Costas who runs the company to report the fault and within two minutes he called me back and was onto the problem.

Within ten mins he had resolved it and all was well again.

Now i think that was an excellent service so thought i would pass this on. 8)
I started off with nothing and have most of it left !

Andy..

Many of us yesterday (5/2/2016) had problems with IPTV streaming, at first I blamed Cyta but they were not the problem as my internet was my normal good service, did what you did rebooted several times my Mag, still constant freezing, turns out it was international streaming problem, all cleared at 6pm time. I guess these things will always happen from time to time with IPTV no matter who or what you use.

We too had the same freezing problems and black screens yesterday afternoon. In fact it was so bad that we went back to using the laptop to the TV to watch via Filmon :-)
Thanks for the clarification of the problems

Wouldn't think there is a person in Cyprus who doesn't have a problem or interruption (however minor) with their iptv at one time or another.

Funnily enough Lloyd I seem to be the only person with hardly any Cytanet issues - been with them nearly 12 yrs now and virtually no complaints!

Oh ditto, the only interruptions arise, I suspect from NTV. I've always said that CYTA were the best. Must be years since I've had any CYTA downtime.

Wow that's 3 of us then - I'm sure there are more but people are always quicker to criticise than praise!

Look nobody on this thread was blaming Cyta, lets clear that up please..not sure why you brought this I love Cyta up?

As for never having problems with Cyta how about 8 technicians from Cyta trying to get it to work at your house? yes Cyta do have problems from time to time as all Internet providers do, run a forum and you will soon find this out, but Cyta do offer at the moment a steady signal for streaming IPTV, the problems the other day I was told were not Cyta but as I posted International IPTV line streaming..

Did not know you had streaming TV box Vicky?

Honestly this will depend on your area and how many streaming TVs are in operation, Cyta are very good now, but over the years I have had real problems, they have got their act together for now, lets all hope it is permanent, Streaming TV uses a lot of bandwidth, just ask Digby, and for sure many of us will have problems, if like pickles you are not one on these then great, unfortunately and as anyone can see some do have problems, they are not dreaming these up!

It would help with the bandwidth if Everyone turned there streaming TV Box Off when it was not in use.

On the nail Trev.
I have mentioned this several times before and tried to get friends to see sense. One dear gentleman refused to turn his box and modem off even when he was off island for 6 weeks.
