On Windows 7, how do I delete browsing history.

At the top left of any page on my laptop, there is... File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help.
Click on History, and then on clear recent History. There is a drop down box to change the time from the last hour to everything


This is in Windows 7 via firefox
