Incident of animal cruelty in Peyia

Postby Pickles » 05 Feb 2015 14:38

Anita from the Pegeia private animal sanctuary has posted the following on here Facebook page today:

Urgent. ..
Two carrier bags of puppies dumped 3 dead. 5 barely alive. Urgent Foster home needed. They're only 10 day's old. Looks like 3 different set of litters and one puppy had its tail cut off.
We're in need of puppy milk. . Puppy pads. Any funds to help with these.
They were driving a black BMW , simular to a z5 ??? Unfortunately the number plate wasn't taken. But these men would be recognised again. Up in Pegeia, on the road passed Mellis hotel. 1 kl on the left.
The 2 men one in his 50's and one 40' s.walking with 2 carrier bags. Threw them on the floor. And walked away.
Disgraceful. Words just can't express how I'm feeling at the moment.

If anyone has any information or can donate anything please contact her on 99280773, New Roots garden centre opp Hearns is a collection point for any food, biscuits, bedding, towels, blankets, equipment, puppy pads etc

Thanks RaynSue - they all survived the night, even the tiny one that had it's tail brutally docked!
