Most commercial web sites use cookies and trackers, only answer is not to use the internet.

Or install an add-on such as Tracker Block.

And if you do use a tracker blocking add-on then the sites do not get any revenue from adverts. Shame, or is it. No revenue, no sites, no internet. Simplistic but there is a fight back against add blockers. Interesting times.
I use No-Script to verify certain sites but I do not use it all the time for all sites.
