House Insurance

Postby MofArodes » 04 Jun 2016 14:00

Hi Nigel,
I have been told (or read somewhere) that for houses built in the last several years, the government provide cover (compensation) for earthquake damage. Do you know if this is true?
Thank you,
Mike

Hi Mike

As far as I am aware the Government doesn't provide earthquake cover/compensation. Insurance companies will provide insurance cover if you ask them.
