which plant?

Our garden to the front of the house gets the sun all day long, however, we would like to plant something that will grow like a vine across the fence to give us a bit of privacy but that will survive the heat of the sun as well, plus if possible a bit of colour (we already have a grapevine at the back and want to avoid another one) don't want bougonvilla (spelling sorry) as we already have one of those - any suggestions?

Campsis radicans (trumpet creeper) is likely to be good for your position.

Although native of the USA it is in Parks in Cyprus.

Hi Amanda
Please let me know if you manage to find one. I tried several garden centres including Green Forest near the airport last month and failed. Been thinking of bringing one over in my suitcase. We have one in our garden here in the UK and it is growing very well. The flowers are gorgeous.
